**About the role** As a **.NET Application Support Engineer** , you will make an impact by resolving complex customer issues, maintaining critical applications, and driving development work to enhance performance and security. You will be a valued member of the **Technology & Engineering** team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions. **In this role, you will:** + Act as a point of contact for escalated or complex customer inquiries and complaints that frontline staff cannot resolve. + Analyze production issues and provide application maintenance support. + Determine and prioritize maintenance work, including bug fixes, performance improvements, and security updates. + Track team performance, analyze metrics, and implement solutions to improve service levels, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. + Identify areas for process improvement, implement new workflows, and create training materials to enhance support services. + Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth information flow and coordinate efforts to meet strategic objectives. + Manage work queues and ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements. **Work model** We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a **hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client office** . The annual salary for this position is between **$90,000 - $115,000** , depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
