• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
\n \n
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.655 per Mile Avergaing 1200 - 1400 Per Week
\n \n
• Solo Stops Pay: $26.75 per Stop, Averaging 5 -10 Stops Per Week
\n \n
• 1- 2 Layover Per Week in Ryder Sleeper Truck -$100 Per Night
\n \n
• Safety Bonus: Pays You $300 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter
\n \n
• Paid Training
\n \n
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
\n \n
• Start Time: 2:00 AM - 7:00 AM Dispatch

• Deliver SOLO To: Mid Atlantic Region and New England Region and Some Midwestern states -Possible NYC and 5 Boroughs - Paid $65.00 Per Stop Within Boroughs
\n \n
• Route: Regional
\n \n
• Tractor Type: Day Cab and Sleeper
\n \n
• Able to Accommodate Auto Restrictions
\n \n
• Trailer Type: Dry Van and Flatbed - No Tarping
\n \n
• Loads will be strapped. Check load securement.
\n \n
• Ryder will Train you on Flatbed to be successful
\n \n
• Freight: Touch – Commercial Foam
\n \n\n

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
\n \n
• Pass a DOT physical
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder road test
\n \n
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
\n \n
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
\n \n
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
\n \n
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
\n \n
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
\n \n
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
\n \n
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
\n \n\n

Responsibilities

\n \n\n

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
\n \n
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
\n \n
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
\n \n
• Performs other duties as assigned
\n \n\n
