General Role Description:
As a Radiation Oncologist with us, you will work collaboratively within a physician-led organization that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage high-quality radiation treatment plans for patients with various diseases.
  • Oversee the implementation of quality control measures to maintain superior standards of patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and service documentation standards.
  • Evaluate medical records and conduct thorough examinations to inform effective treatment strategies.
  • Compile clinical and diagnostic findings to make informed recommendations in multidisciplinary settings.
  • Possess effective communication skills, engage well with colleagues, and advocate for advancements in radiation oncology.
  • Participate actively in Radiation Oncology peer review and safety committees; engage in monthly Tumor Board meetings.

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, a proud part of Optum, has been Houston’s premier multispecialty group practice since 1949. Required Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD, DO)
  • Accredited residency training
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas
  • Board certification in Radiation Oncology from the American Board of Radiology

Preferred Qualification:

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish

Compensation for this role generally ranges from $385,500 - $708,000, including base pay and bonuses, determined by local labor markets, education, experience, and performance metrics. Our comprehensive benefits package includes an attractive array of health benefits, incentive programs, equity stock purchase options, and a 401k contribution plan (subject to eligibility).
